Our office hours are as follows:
Monday through Thursday: 9 AM to 4 PM

We welcome you to Central Bucks Rheumatology, the office of Sherilyn T. McCollum, D.O., FACR. We specialize in the compassionate and comprehensive medical care of adult patients (ages 18+) with rheumatic and arthritic conditions.
We specialize in the treatment of a variety of autoimmune and arthritic conditions with the use of medications and non-medication modalities. We are able to perform joint aspirations and injections as needed for diagnosis and treatment. We also offer infusion (IV) therapy and injection therapy for certain conditions.
As we are a non-surgical specialty, we do not perform surgeries, such as joint replacements. We do not prescribe opioids, narcotics, or controlled substances, as this is beyond the scope of our practice.
We accept most commercial insurances, as well as Medicare. We do not accept Medicaid, Tricare, Worker's Compensation, or Motor Vehicle Accident Insurance. If you have any questions, please call the office at 267-483-8094.
Dr. McCollum limits her practice of Rheumatology to the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory or autoimmune types of arthritis and connective tissue disorders. Dr. McCollum provides one-time consultations for primary fibromyalgia, in which she will make recommendations for your treatment that you can provide to your current treating providers.
Dr. McCollum does not perform disability determinations or complete disability forms. Our office will be happy to provide your medical records (with a signed records release) to any agency requesting these records in support of a disability claim.
Dr. McCollum is on staff at Holy Redeemer Hospital.
Beginning July 1, 2022, we will be hosting Internal Medicine residents from Nazareth Hospital, as well as fourth year medical students from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Please let us know if you do not feel comfortable having them participate in your care.
As of May 30, 2023, masks will now be optional in our office, but they will still be required in our infusion suite. Please respect others' decisions to wear a mask. For your protection, our entire staff has been fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
Please complete your online check-in prior to your arrival at our office. If you do not complete online check in, please arrive 30 minutes early for a new patient appointment to allow adequate time for you to complete your intake paperwork. We will also need copies of your insurance card, photo ID, and your prescription card (if it is separate from your medical insurance card). If we have mailed you the paperwork in advance and you bring it with you to your appointment, please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in. All established patients should arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.
We continue to ask that if you are experiencing any new respiratory symptoms or feel unwell that you call our office at 267-483-8094 to reschedule your appointment.
Since we are not a pediatric practice, our office is not childproof. We ask that you do not bring small children to your appointments. If you are unable to avoid bringing small children to your appointment, another responsible adult should attend the appointment with you, to allow the children to remain in our waiting area during your appointment. To allow your appointment to be as productive as possible, we will be happy to reschedule your appointment to a more convenient time if you are unable to attend your appointment without small children or without another responsible adult. If you have any questions, please contact our office at 267-483-8094.
